How the Pink’s Brand Was Born

Pink’s Window Services is a trusted company in the blue-collar industry, founded by friends Brandon Downer and Carter Smith in Austin, Texas, after they were laid off at the same time during the COVID-19 pandemic. They set out to create something simple and dependable, choosing the window cleaning space for its straightforward nature and the opportunity to restore trust in the people working on your home or your business.

What began with Brandon and Carter completing every job themselves has grown into a nationally known brand, with a deep-rooted mission to flip the script on blue-collar trades. Pink’s provides full-service cleaning that includes window cleaning, pressure washing for driveways and walkways, gutter and roof cleaning, solar panel cleaning, high dusting, and detailed light fixture cleaning.

Together, Brandon and Carter built a business model that combines strong operational structure with intentional brand standards, creating a company culture centered on doing the work the right way, every time. This commitment continues to define their mission and sets Pink’s apart as a dependable and trusted provider in the blue-collar industry.

Founders’ Connection and Alignment

After several years of building Pink’s on their own, Brandon Downer and Carter Smith were introduced to Steven Montgomery, founder and CEO of ResiBrands, one of the fastest-growing home service franchises in the nation. They met through a mutual friend, and during their first lunch together, the conversation came so naturally that nearly six hours passed without any of them realizing it. “We just started talking about our vision for the service business,” Downer said. “As we continued meeting, we were all blown away by how aligned we were on wanting something different for this industry.

From the very beginning, the three shared the same values and direction: faith, purpose, brand, and goals. Steven’s goal was to create a true blue-collar revolution, and all three believed deeply in being in the business of flipping the script on the blue-collar services industry. For them, finding the right partners mattered more than anything, and together they saw that this alignment was the foundation needed to bring that vision to life.

The ResiBrands Partnership

The partnership between Pink’s Window Services and ResiBrands became official in June of 2023, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the brands. With a shared mission and a clear direction, the team began preparing Pink’s to grow through franchising. In July 2023, they awarded their first franchise location. By the fall of 2023, Pink’s officially launched its first franchise, proving the strength of its simple and dependable service model when supported by solid systems and aligned leadership. These early milestones laid the groundwork for Pink’s continued growth in the blue-collar services industry.

The Rise of Pink’s Window Services

Pink’s rapid expansion has consistently exceeded expectations. What began as a small, simple, and dependable window cleaning concept built on old-school values has grown into a national movement. 

Today, 95 franchise owners have been launched and are operating across the United States, with three more preparing to open before the end of the year. In 2025 alone, Pink’s has launched 68 new locations, tripling the size of the brand in a single year and proving the strength of their approach to flipping the script on the blue-collar service industry. 

Demand continues to rise as homeowners and business owners alike seek a service company that treats their property and time with the utmost respect. With this momentum, Pink’s Window Services has become the fastest-growing window cleaning company in the country, and they’re just getting started.
